Ant Collier
Head Coach

Ant has been involved in Triathlons for a number of years and is a qualified level 3 Triathlon England Coach, with overall responsibility for the Senior and Junior & Youth sections of the club. Ant is always looking for new ways to test and stretch everyone’s abilities, whether it’s training or competing.

Peter Biggs
Junior and Youth Co-ordinator and Youth Team manager

Peter took on the role of Junior and Youth Co-ordinator in late 2014 and has helped develop and bring on the teams to their current thriving formats. He is a Level 1 Triathlon England coach and is currently training as a level 2 Coach. He will also be taking part in his first Ironman event in 2016.

Kate Liddiard
Junior Team Manager

Kate is the Junior Team Manager and is a qualified level 2 Triathlon England Coach. She has several other qualifications in health and fitness, which helps to develop and plan the core training sessions. Kate also runs a weekly run session for adults of all abilities.

Kim is an Iron distance triathlete and qualified Level 1 Triathlon England Coach. As co-owner of a personal fitness business, Kim has many years’ experience in motivating and advising athletes how they can get the best out of weekly training sessions. Kim is currently training towards a Level 2 BTF qualification.

Steve Gershon

Steve is a Level 2 Triathlon England Coach; he has been coaching children in the field of triathlon for many years and is also a swimming coach for Hoddesdon Swimming Club.

Brian Carpenter
Junior and Youth Events Co-Ordinator

Brian qualified as a Level 1 Tri-England Coach during 2015 – he started by joining the HTC run school in 2014 and has taken part in several duathlons. He was part of a team competing in the London Triathlon at the Excel centre in 2015.

Daniel Madden

Dan qualified as a Level 1 Triathlon England Coach during 2015; he has joined the senior squad and has taken part in several races. He is training ready for the 2016 season.

David Whitelegg

David qualified as a Level 1 Triathlon England Coach during 2015; he has joined the senior squad and has plans to take part in a variety of events during the 2016 season.

Tony Willis

Tony is a regular volunteer at the weekly training sessions and is due to embark on the Level 1 Triathlon England Course very soon.

Mike Suckling
Swim Coach

Mike Suckling is HTC’s senior swim coach, with years of experience coaching all levels he is a triathlete himself. Find him at one of the Senior swim sessions or guiding a bike group on a training ride.

Steve Hunt

I decided to try triathlon over a decade ago. I wasn't a swimmer, a biker or running enthusiast. Just seemed like a good idea at the time. Got the bug and now I have the badge (a Level 2 triathlon coach, and ASA teaching aquatics instructor). My new challenge is helping HTCers achieve there goals... Whilst still trying to hit mine

Joel Knight

I am a former swimmer turned triathlete, with a level 2 swimming teaching & coaching qualification. Been a part of the club since September 2015 and loved every second.
